As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of application features. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and decision-making to drive project success while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and team members throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices to enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Design for Testability (DFT).
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies and integration of test features into hardware and software designs.
- Experience with automated test pattern generation and fault simulation techniques.
- Ability to analyze and optimize test coverage and test time for complex systems.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve design issues.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with design, verification, and manufacturing teams to ensure testability requirements are met.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Design for Testability (DFT).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
