Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate, adjust, and monitor an automated electrostatic powder coating booth.
- Visually look for flaws and inconsistencies and perform touch ups by operating a manual spray gun.
- Direct line activities and manage line parameters for production pace.
- Determine appropriate preparation of surfaces and application of powder coating.
- Perform surface prep, masking, and plugging.
- Operate and maintain both the cure and dry off ovens.
- Operate controls and functions of powder coating equipment.
- Clean, maintain, and store tools and powder coating equipment.
- Interpret technical documentation to determine correct paint application and surface finish.
- Determine appropriate preparation of surfaces and application of paint.
- Disposes properly of paints and other hazardous materials.
- Safe material handling processes, including forklift driving and overhead crane operating.
