Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and QA peers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Demonstrate autonomy in task execution, taking ownership of deliverables.
Analyse and resolve complex issues promptly, documenting and communicating findings.
Identify, document, and monitor software defects using issue tracking systems.
Adapt smoothly to change and switch gears as needed.
Keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices in manual and automated testing methodologies.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of QA processes and procedures.
Perform both manual and automated testing as required.
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to uphold software product quality and reliability.

Requirements & Skills:

2-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
Proficiency in manual testing; automation experience is advantageous.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman.
Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects punctually with high quality.
Self-motivated and confident, with a collaborative demeanour and the capacity to articulate questions effectively.
Ability to comprehend complex programs and environments rapidly.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
