Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the execution and management of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely completion, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards and project budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Supervise site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare project progress reports, MIS reports, and documentation for management and clients.
- Coordinate procurement and material planning to support uninterrupted project execution.
- Identify project risks and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Attend project review meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support project commissioning, testing, handover, and close-out activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in executing or managing Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Water Supply, or EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, site execution, and construction practices.
- Knowledge of WTP processes, equipment, and project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and ERP/project management software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EPC or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams effectively.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and HSE standards.
- Ability to work under tight project timelines and deliver results.
Salary: ₹50,000–₹60,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
Pay: ₹50,246.99 - ₹51,494.80 per month
