Role Overview: As Business Development Manager – Medical Equipment, you will play a critical role in Blackfrog’s private segment expansion. This is an individual contributor role with significant scope for growth into a regional leadership position. You will be responsible for planning and achieving revenue targets, acquiring strategic accounts, building a channel partner network, and expanding our presence in key metro markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, own, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned territories.
- Develop and execute a go- to- market strategy for the private sector (diagnostics, hospitals, biopharmaceutical companies, specialty care). Identify, engage, and convert decision- makers across procurement, clinical, and operations functions.
- Conduct impactful product demonstrations and presentations to varied stakeholders.
- Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, onboarding, and repeat business.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners to expand reach and accelerate market penetration.
- Gather and share market intelligence on competition, customer needs, and pricing trends.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth post- sales implementation and satisfaction.
- Represent Blackfrog at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management preferred).
- 4–6 years of sales/business development experience in medical devices, diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, healthcare cold chain, or related sectors.
- Exposure to multi- city territory management and high- value account acquisition.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong network in private sector healthcare and life sciences companies is a plus.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship- building skills. Willingness to travel extensively (~12–15 days/month). Self- driven, adaptable, and eager to take on larger responsibilities in a growing organisation.
