We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Counsellor , The role involves guiding patients and their families through diagnosis, treatment options (such as cataract, LASIK, or other eye surgeries), addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from consultation.
Pre-Counselling Responsibilities (Before Treatment/Surgery):
- Interact with patients after doctor consultation to explain diagnosis and recommended treatment
- Educate patients about procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma treatment, etc.
- Guide patients in selecting appropriate treatment packages/lenses (if applicable)
- Provide cost estimates and explain billing/insurance processes
- Counsel patients for surgery acceptance and conversion
- Coordinate with doctors and front office for scheduling procedures
- Ensure completion of pre-operative documentation and consent forms
- Build trust and rapport with patients and their families
Post-Counselling Responsibilities (After Treatment/Surgery):
- Explain post-operative care instructions (medications, precautions, follow-ups)
- Educate patients about recovery timelines and expected outcomes
- Handle patient queries and concerns after surgery
- Handle feedback and improve patient experience
Qualifications:
- Graduation - Any Stream
- Experience : 1–3 years of experience in Eye hospital
