Flo Mattress is a leading sleep solutions brand focused on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fire Safety Officer to strengthen workplace safety standards and ensure compliance across our manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety inspections across the facility.
- Ensure proper maintenance and readiness of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarm systems, sprinklers, and other firefighting equipment.
- Organize fire drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and safety awareness programs for employees.
- Coordinate with local fire authorities and regulatory bodies for inspections and compliance requirements.
- Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain fire safety records, permits, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations, factory safety norms, and company policies.
- Support EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives to promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on fire prevention and emergency preparedness.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, EHS, or a related field.
- Certification/Diploma in Fire & Safety Management or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency response procedures, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments preferred.
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively during emergencies and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
