We are seeking a warm, sophisticated, and detail-oriented Boutique Hotel Receptionist to serve as the face of our property. In this role, you will do much more than check guests in and out; you will act as a personal host, local guide, and brand ambassador. The ideal candidate thrives in an intimate, upscale environment where anticipating guest needs and delivering highly personalized service is the standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Hosting & Experience
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, conducting personalized, unhurried check-in and check-out procedures.
- Anticipate guest preferences by reviewing pre-arrival notes, arranging bespoke VIP amenities, and customizing room setups.
- Provide expert concierge recommendations regarding hidden local gems, fine dining, curated tours, and transportation.
- Resolve guest issues promptly with empathy, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to restoring total satisfaction.
Front Desk Operations & Administration
- Manage bookings flawlessly across phone, email, walk-ins, and Property Management Systems (PMS) like Eglobe, OTA Extranet, etc
- Execute billing procedures with total accuracy, including handling cash, processing credit cards, and verifying room charges.
- Maintain lobby aesthetics, ensuring the front desk and lounge areas remain pristine, stylish, and welcoming at all times.
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, routing calls and capturing clear, actionable guest messages.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Liaise with housekeeping continuously to track room readiness, coordinate early arrivals, and fulfill special amenity requests.
- Communicate with maintenance to report and track immediate fixes needed in guest rooms or public spaces.
- Support boutique food & beverage operations when necessary, such as coordinating morning coffee services or handling room service requests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a similar position.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency with modern hotel reservation software and standard tech platforms.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the local neighborhood’s culture, dining scene, and tourist spots.
- Communication: Flawless verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Adaptability: Ability to balance clerical tasks with face-to-face guest interactions without losing composure.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Should be able to work in Morning, Afternoon, Evening & Night Shifts
- Uniform, Staff Duty Meals are provided.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
