Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, issuing invoices and receipts, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer service at an automobile dealership or service center. The role requires accuracy in cash handling, knowledge of billing procedures, and coordination with sales and service departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process payments from customers through cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, cheques, and other approved payment methods.
- Generate invoices, receipts, and payment acknowledgments for vehicle sales, spare parts, and service transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash collections and transactions.
- Reconcile cash drawer and prepare daily cash reports.
- Coordinate with the sales, service, accounts, and spare parts departments regarding customer billing.
- Verify payment details and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and refunds.
- Process refunds, discounts, and adjustments as authorized.
- Deposit cash collections according to company procedures.
- Assist in maintaining financial documentation and records for audits.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Support administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a cashier, billing executive, or accounts assistant (preferably in the automobile industry).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and billing/accounting software.
- Good numerical and data-entry skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
