Job Description
The Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily dispatch operations, production planning, inventory control, and coordination between production, stores, and logistics teams to ensure smooth plant operations and timely delivery of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities1. Dispatch Operations
- Plan and monitor daily dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely loading and delivery of finished goods.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics vendors.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents, challans, invoices, and e-way bills.
- Ensure compliance with company dispatch procedures.
2. Production Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to achieve planned targets.
- Monitor production progress and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
3. Stock Management
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for material availability.
- Generate inventory and stock reports for management review.
4. Team Supervision
- Supervise shop-floor workers and operators.
- Allocate work and monitor performance.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and Organization standards.
- Train employees on operational procedures and best practices.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Inventory and stock management skills.
- Dispatch and logistics coordination.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma/12th
- 2–5 years of experience in Production, Dispatch, or Store Operations.
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.

Plant Manager / Production Manager
