Key Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
1 Cash and Liquidity Manager Cash Positioning Forecasting Monitors real time cash flows and generates automated short to long term liquidity plans Cash Pooling Concentration Optimizes daily liquidity across global bank accounts and subsidiaries Bank Communication Utilizes built in tools like SAP Multi Bank Connectivity to centralize corporate to bank communications
2 Treasury Dealer Trader Deal Execution Manages money market foreign exchange FX loans derivatives and securities Platform Integration Initiates deal requests and consolidates trading operations with seamless two way integration to external trading platforms
3 Risk Manager Exposure Management Captures and evaluates FX and commodity exposures from upstream operational cash flows Hedge Management Generates hedging proposals executes trades and ensures compliance with strict accounting standards eg IFRS US GAAP
4 Treasury SAP Finance Consultant System Configuration Sets up Treasury and Risk Management TRM modules including transaction types condition types and payment programs Market Data Management Configures and maintains automatic feeds for interest rates exchange rates and commodity prices Cross Module Integration Ensures smooth data flow between Treasury Financial Accounting FI Controlling CO and other upstream logistics modules
