Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage and supervise construction site activities at a managerial level. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all ongoing civil work is executed properly, according to approved plans, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day construction site activities.
- Regularly inspect the site to ensure that all work is being carried out correctly and as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor the performance of workers, contractors, and site teams and ensure that assigned work is completed properly.
- Ensure that workers are following the correct construction methods and maintaining required quality standards.
- Check the progress and quality of ongoing civil work and immediately identify any errors, defects, or deviations.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, labourers, vendors, and other site personnel.
- Allocate work to the site team and ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the planned timeline.
- Verify measurements, materials, workmanship, and overall execution at the site.
- Ensure proper use of construction materials and minimize unnecessary wastage.
- Resolve day-to-day site issues and coordinate with management for major technical or operational concerns.
- Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, manpower records, and work status.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety standards and site discipline.
- Coordinate with senior management and provide regular updates regarding site progress, manpower, quality, and pending work.
- Take managerial responsibility for ensuring that the work happening at the site is correct, timely, and up to the required standard.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site management.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction, site execution, and quality control.
- Good manpower and contractor management skills.
- Ability to independently handle and monitor construction sites.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify construction errors and take corrective action.
- Must be comfortable with regular site visits and hands-on supervision.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be a responsible and experienced site manager who can independently monitor the complete site, manage the workforce, check whether the work is being executed correctly, and report directly to senior management regarding the overall progress and quality of the project.
Salary: Up to ₹1,00,000 per month, depending on experience and expertise.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
