Position: Planning Engineer
Experience: 5+ yrs with Contracting Company
Qualification: BE/B.Tech / Diploma / Any relevant Certification
Responsibilities:
Scheduling: Developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules (baseline, weekly, monthly) using tools.
Progress Monitoring: Having knowledge of site construction. Tracking daily/weekly site progress, comparing actual progress against the planned schedule, and calculating earned value.
Resource Planning: Planning, tracking, and optimizing resource allocation (labor, material, equipment) to meet deadlines.
Reporting: Preparing, maintaining, and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (MIS) to clients and senior management.
Contractual & Risk Management: Reviewing contract documents to understand milestones, identifying potential delays, and suggesting mitigation strategies.
Coordination: Working with procurement, design, and site construction teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Cost Control: Assisting in budgeting and tracking costs, including comparing actual material usage against estimated quantities.
