Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our Infrastructure & Real Estate projects team. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, billing, cost control, vendor management, and project cost monitoring. The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and real estate construction projects and be available for immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
- Verify and certify contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for civil and infrastructure works.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Conduct rate analysis and cost comparison for materials and services.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and vendors.
- Track material consumption and reconcile quantities.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to project costs and billing.
- Assist in tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities.
- Review variations, extra items, and change orders.
- Ensure timely preparation of client bills and subcontractor payments.
- Support project planning and cost forecasting activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying, BOQ preparation, and billing.
- Experience in infrastructure and real estate projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP/billing software.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and project documentation.
- Knowledge of rate analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 5–6 years of experience in Infrastructure and Real Estate projects.
- Immediate joiner or candidates available within 15 days preferred.
- Local candidates from Medchal, Hyderabad, or nearby locations preferred.
- Good communication skills in Telugu and English.
Compensation
- Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance).
- Other benefits as per company policy.
