Job Description
We are seeking a professional and dedicated F&B Service Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be versatile, capable of providing excellent service across our A la Carte Restaurant, Banquet Halls, and Outdoor Catering events. You will be the face of The Pearl, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
1. Restaurant Operations:
- Greet and seat guests with a welcoming attitude.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen via KOT/POS system.
- Serve food and beverages according to service standards.
- Process guest bills and handle payments efficiently.
2. Banquet & Catering Operations:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet halls and outdoor catering sites (buffet counters, table layouts, decorations).
- Replenish buffet items promptly and maintain cleanliness around food stations.
- Serve water, starters, and beverages to guests during weddings and parties.
- Manage crowd flow and ensure VVIP guests are attended to personally.
3. General Duties:
- Maintain a high standard of personal grooming and hygiene (clean uniform, polished shoes, etc.).
- Ensure the dining area, crockery, and cutlery are clean and sanitized at all times.
- Address guest complaints politely and report them to the Captain or Manager immediately.
- Work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.
Requirements
- Education: 12th pass minimum. Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management is a strong plus.
- Experience: 0–2 years in a hotel, restaurant, or catering firm. Freshers with a good attitude are welcome to apply.
- Language: Fluency in Bengali is mandatory. Working knowledge of Hindi and English is preferred.
- Skills:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (especially during catering events).
- Good memory for menu items.
- Polite and customer-centric behavior.
