Provis Technologies is a software development company building custom SaaS platforms, e-commerce solutions, mobile apps, AI-powered tools, and automation systems for clients across India, the USA, and Europe.
We are looking for someone who can test products properly, understand business flows, use modern QA tools, and work with developers to deliver stable, production-ready applications.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Quality Analyst with 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing, basic automation testing, SaaS/product testing, and QA documentation.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, basic technical understanding, and the ability to use AI tools to improve testing quality, write better test cases, and speed up QA workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Test web applications, SaaS platforms, mobile apps, admin panels, APIs, and e-commerce workflows.
- Understand product requirements, user flows, and business logic before starting testing.
- Write and execute test cases, test scenarios, regression checklists, and bug reports.
- Perform manual testing for functionality, UI, usability, validation, responsiveness, compatibility, and regression.
- Test SaaS features such as login/signup, subscriptions, dashboards, user roles, permissions, notifications, reports, and integrations.
- Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear steps, screenshots, screen recordings, expected results, and actual results.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues do not repeat in future releases.
- Support basic automation testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Use AI tools to generate test cases, improve test coverage, summarize bugs, prepare QA checklists, and identify edge cases.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to improve product quality.
- Support release testing before client delivery or production deployment.
Required Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in QA/manual testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong manual testing skills.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing.
- Basic understanding of SaaS platforms and product workflows.
- Basic technical knowledge of web applications, mobile apps, APIs, databases, and browser behavior.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
- Ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, and QA documentation.
- Understanding of browser testing across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
- Ability to test responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Notion, or similar.
- Ability to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar for QA productivity.
- Good written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.
Good to Have
- Experience testing SaaS products, dashboards, CRM systems, admin panels, or e-commerce platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.
- Basic understanding of Git, logs, browser dev tools, and network requests.
- Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, Laravel, React, Next.js, or Node.js projects.
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Katalon.
- Basic understanding of performance, security, and accessibility testing.
What We Expect
We do not want someone who only clicks around and says “it is not working.”
We expect you to explain what failed, where it failed, how to reproduce it, what should happen, and what actually happened. You should be able to catch broken flows, layout issues, missing validations, wrong business logic, spelling mistakes, edge cases, and poor user experience.
You should think like a product user, not just a tester.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant QA experience and practical testing skills will be given more importance than degree alone.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
