We are looking for a dedicated, skilled Lathe Operator to join our team, uphold our reputation for quality, and handle day-to-day machining requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Precision Machining: Set up, adjust, and operate conventional lathe machines to manufacture and repair components like tup gulla, rim plates, pressure jacks, and bell cranks.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, job orders, and measurements to understand exact client job specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure flawless workmanship and exact dimensions.
- Component Repair: Diagnose worn-out or damaged parts brought in by clients and perform precise turning, facing, threading, or boring to restore them.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines and workshop tools while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Practical experience operating manual/conventional lathe machines in a workshop environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of turning, boring, facing, and threading techniques specific to heavy-duty parts (bell cranks, jacks, etc.).
- Tool Mastery: Proficiency with measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers) and various cutting tools.
- Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and delivering high-quality results.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of a busy machine shop environment.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
