Cluster Credit Manager

Job details

1. Customer Application Screening and KYC: Thoroughly screen and evaluate customer loan

applications, ensuring all necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation is complete and

accurate. Verify the identity and financial details of applicants.

2. Income Document Verification: Review and validate income documents submitted by customers to

assess their repayment capacity. Ensure that income documentation meets the lending criteria.

3. Initiate Legal, Valuation, CIBIL, and Verification Reports: Coordinate and initiate the necessary

legal, property valuation, Credit Information Bureau (CIBIL), and other verification reports to assess

the creditworthiness of loan applicants.

4. Risk Assessment: Analyze inherent credit, collateral, operational, and fraud risks associated with

loan applications.

5. Training: Provide regular training to sales and credit teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.

7. Task Management: Organize and perform tasks within defined Turnaround Time (TAT) for loan

processing.

8. Documentation: Prepare customer assessment report, cash flow analyses, and bank statement

analyses.

10. Compliance: Manage and ensure compliance with OTC and Post Disbursal Documents (PDD).

11. Team Management: Supervise a team of 3-5 credit managers in branches within the State.

12. MIS Reporting: Maintain portfolio Management Information System (MIS), Delinquency MIS, and

other related MIS for the cluster and report regularly.

13. Support: Provide support to the business team for the smooth processing of loan proposals.

14. Review: Review early warning and non-starter cases to address potential issues.

Other Responsibilities:

Credit Knowledge: Possess good knowledge of credit bureau checks, property valuation, legal

reports, and documentation.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in data entry, MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS management.

KYC Knowledge: Familiarity with Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of technical aspects relevant to the role.

Geography Knowledge: Good knowledge of the geography related to the lending operations.

Documentation Management: Efficiently manage loan documentation processes.
