A Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) builds and nurtures long-term relationships between a company and its clients. They drive business growth by overseeing post-sales support, boosting customer retention, and identifying opportunities for upselling.
Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs, and developing tailored solutions.
- Conflict Resolution: Monitor customer feedback, swiftly address complaints, and resolve issues to ensure high satisfaction.
- Cross-selling & Retention: Identify client needs for additional products/services and pass leads to the sales team.
- Data Analysis: Analyze customer behavior, usage patterns, and feedback to refine retention strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve the overall customer journey.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Typically 2–3+ years of proven experience in customer-facing roles such as client services, account management, or sales.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in local or regional languages is highly valued in multilingual markets.
- Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) and general office productivity tools.
