2. Role Purpose
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of the CNC shop floor — ensuring production plans are executed on time, machines and manpower are fully utilised, and quality standards are maintained at every stage. This role is central to converting ParFlow’s machine capacity into reliable output, and to building the production visibility the business currently lacks.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Execute the daily/weekly production plan across CNC lathes, VMC, and conventional machines
- Allocate jobs to operators and setters based on priority, machine availability, and skill match
- Monitor and record machine utilisation, downtime, and shift-wise output
- Ensure in-process quality checks are performed at each stage before handover to QC
- Identify and escalate bottlenecks — material shortage, tooling issues, machine breakdown — to the Production Manager
- Maintain shop-floor discipline: attendance, safety compliance, housekeeping standards
- Coordinate with Stores for timely raw material and tooling availability
- Track and report rejection/scrap incidents with root cause
- Support onboarding and on-the-job training of new operators
- Maintain accurate daily production records for management visibility

5. Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering (candidates with a strong hands-on shop-floor track record may be considered in lieu of a formal diploma)
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising a CNC machining shop floor, preferably in precision components
6. Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of CNC turning, VMC, and conventional machining processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T
- Comfort working with exotic alloys (stainless steel, duplex, nickel alloys) is an advantage
- Strong ownership and follow-through — comfortable making shop-floor decisions independently
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, production tracking tools)
- Clear communication with operators, QC, and management
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
