Role Purpose
This role exists to act as the primary engine for revenue generation by identifying potential clients and securing qualified meetings. By sourcing accurate lead data and initiating first contact, you will enable the BD Lead to focus on technical presentations and sales closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sourcing & Research: Proactively find contact details for potential clients in target sectors like education, tourism, and government research.
- Outbound Prospecting: Make outbound calls and send introductory communications to introduce Astrro’s specialized infrastructure solutions.
- Appointment Setting: Qualify interest and schedule meetings for the Business Development Lead / Manager with key decision-makers.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain an accurate lead tracker and CRM database, ensuring all follow-up timelines are met.
- Daily Discipline: Provide daily/weekly activity reports on call volume, lead quality, and scheduled meetings.

Experience & Skills
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience; freshers with strong intent and discipline are highly welcome.
- Tools: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Industry Interest: Prior exposure to engineering, manufacturing, or project-based sales is a plus.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Number of qualified leads generated per month.
- Consistency in meeting outbound call/outreach targets.
- Success rate of meetings scheduled vs. meetings attended by BD Lead.
- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and CRM updates.
