ROLE OVERVIEW
Birla Open Minds International School is looking for a dynamic CBSE & IB Curriculum Trainer to drive academic excellence across both CBSE and IBDP/IBPYP programs. The trainer will be responsible for upskilling teachers, ensuring curriculum alignment, and maintaining high standards of teaching learning practices in line with CBSE & IB frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Curriculum Training & Development
- Conduct training sessions for teachers on CBSE guidelines and IB learner profile, ATL skills, IB pedagogy
- Design and deliver workshops on lesson planning, assessment strategies, and inquirybased learning
- Support teachers in IB unit planner preparation and CBSE competencybased questions
2. Academic Quality & Monitoring
- Ensure effective implementation of CBSE and IB curriculum in classrooms
- Observe classes and provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Analyze student performance data and suggest interventions
3. Teacher Development
- Identify training needs and create Individual Development Plans for teachers
- Mentor new teachers on CBSE marking schemes and IB assessment criteria
- Build capacity for differentiation and inclusive education practices
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure CBSE affiliation norms and IB authorization standards are met
- Maintain training records, teacher observation reports, and workshop documentation
- Coordinate with IB coordinators and CBSE resource persons
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Deep understanding of CBSE curriculum and IB PYP/DP/MYP frameworks
- Strong training & facilitation skills with experience in adult learning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Datadriven approach to improve academic outcomes
- Familiarity with LMS, Google Classroom, and EdTech tools
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Education: Master’s Degree in Education / Subject. B.Ed mandatory. IB Category 1/2/3 training preferred
Experience: in CBSE + IB school as curriculum developer or trainer
Skills: Curriculum design, Teacher mentoring, Assessment design, CBSE & IB compliance
