Job description:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to plan, design and oversee the construction of buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing drawings, co-ordinating with clients and consultants and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop architectural drawings, plans and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar tools,
- Co-ordinate with structural, MEP and interior design consultants
- Ensure designs comply with local building by laws, NBC and safety regulations
- Prepare project documentation, BOQs and specifications
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is followed
- Liaise with clients, contractors and authorities for approvals and modifications.
- Manage timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Review and approve shop drawings and material samples
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
6+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
Knowledge of Indian building codes and local regulations
Preferred skills
Experience ins residential/commerical projects
Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices
Ability to manage multiple projects
