Job Summary
The Grade 3 English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The teacher will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, phonics, and spoken English.
- Foster a love for reading through storytelling, guided reading, and library activities.
- Assess student learning through classwork, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Create a safe, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom resources.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and child safeguarding guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or required, as per school policy).
- 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary grades.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹34,188.37 per month
Work Location: In person
