Accountant – RMC Plant

Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial records for our RMC plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records, sales and purchase entries.
- Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase bills and expense records.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory accounting work.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and track outstanding payments.
- Record daily RMC sales, dispatches and collections.
- Reconcile bank, cash, customer and supplier accounts.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and transporters regarding billing and payments.
- Maintain proper documentation for vehicles, diesel, raw materials and plant expenses.
- Assist in monthly GST returns, TDS returns and other compliance requirements.
- Prepare basic financial reports and outstanding-payment statements for management.
- Coordinate with the company's CA for taxation and statutory matters.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, RMC, infrastructure, manufacturing or a similar business will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing and basic taxation.
- Comfortable with Tally / Tally Prime.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to independently maintain ledgers, reconciliations and day-to-day accounts.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Responsible, organised and able to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to coordinate with plant staff, customers, suppliers and management.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidate from Dahanu, Boisar, Palghar or nearby areas preferred.
- Preference will be given to someone who can travel to the plant easily and reliably.
- Candidates with experience in an RMC plant or construction-related company will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable working in a plant/site environment, rather than only an office environment.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
Salary: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Employment: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
