Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Supervisor to manage and supervise day-to-day manufacturing and production activities. The candidate should have practical knowledge of furniture manufacturing, welding, GRC and FRP production, along with the ability to manage workers and ensure timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily factory production and manufacturing activities.
- Manage and coordinate workers, fabricators, welders, carpenters and other factory staff.
- Have practical knowledge of furniture manufacturing and fabrication.
- Supervise welding, metal fabrication and related work.
- Have knowledge of GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) manufacturing and finishing.
- Have knowledge of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) manufacturing and fabrication.
- Read and understand basic drawings, measurements and production requirements.
- Ensure production is completed according to design, measurements and quality standards.
- Monitor raw materials, tools and inventory required for production.
- Coordinate with the design and interior execution teams regarding production requirements.
- Check the quality and finishing of furniture, GRC, FRP and fabricated products.
- Ensure production deadlines are met and work is completed on time.
- Maintain discipline, safety and cleanliness within the factory.
- Identify production issues and coordinate with management to resolve them.
- Maintain basic records of production, materials and worker attendance.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials and minimize wastage.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Factory Supervisor, Production Supervisor or similar role.
- Practical knowledge of furniture, welding and fabrication is required.
- Knowledge of GRC and FRP manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Experience in an interior designing, furniture, fabrication, GRC/FRP or construction-related company will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of measurements, materials and production processes.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple production activities.
- Responsible, disciplined and hands-on approach to factory operations.
