Job Description:
We are looking for detail-oriented Trainees - QA Test Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. The candidate will play a key role in identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall improvement of our product quality.
The candidate should hold a Graduate degree in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) and possess a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect reporting.
- Knowledge of writing test plans, test cases, test plan execution and creation of test reports.
- Knowledge of Windows and its environment settings.
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting will be a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and logical skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues encountered during testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT.
- 0-1 Year of experience required.
- Candidate must be from Chandigarh Tricity or nearby location.
- Software Testing Certification or Training is must.
- Basic knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
