We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Lead with deep expertise in Mainframe technologies and a solid understanding of modern application development using Java, Python, and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, modernization, and support of mission-critical enterprise applications while driving engineering excellence, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives.
This role requires a solid technical leader who can bridge legacy mainframe systems with modern cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions, mentor engineering teams, collaborate across business stakeholders, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise-grade applications on Mainframe platforms

Drive modernization initiatives by integrating Mainframe systems with modern technologies such as Java, Python, APIs, and cloud services

Define engineering standards, coding practices, and development methodologies

Review system designs, code quality, performance optimization, and security compliance
-
Lead technical troubleshooting for complex production incidents and critical business applications
