Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plant Manager to oversee the complete operations of a tyre rubber crumb oil extraction plant. The candidate will be responsible for managing production, maintenance, quality, safety, manpower, inventory, and overall plant performance to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
The ideal candidate should have experience in pyrolysis, waste tyre recycling, oil extraction, chemical processing, rubber processing, or related manufacturing industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day plant operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure smooth operation of tyre rubber crumb oil extraction processes.
- Monitor production efficiency, plant utilization, and process optimization.
- Develop and implement SOPs for all plant activities.
- Minimize downtime and maximize plant productivity.
Production Planning & Control
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production output and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Optimize raw material consumption and process efficiency.
- Analyze production data and implement corrective actions.
Maintenance Management
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and shutdown planning.
- Improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
Quality Control
- Ensure consistent quality of extracted oil, carbon products, and by-products.
- Implement quality standards and process controls.
- Coordinate with quality teams for testing and compliance.
- Reduce process losses and improve product yield.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and environmental norms.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and waste management.
Inventory & Stores Management
- Monitor inventory of raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods.
- Ensure optimum stock levels to avoid production interruptions.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
Team Management
- Lead production, maintenance, quality, utility, and support staff.
- Allocate manpower effectively across shifts.
- Conduct performance reviews and skill development programs.
- Foster discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement culture.
Cost Control & Productivity Improvement
- Monitor production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Improve process efficiency, yield, and resource utilization.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Control energy, fuel, and utility consumption.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board, Factory Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Maintain operational reports, production records, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with government authorities and auditors when required.

Required QualificationsEducation
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Diploma candidates with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 7-8 yars of experience in manufacturing or process industries.
- Minimum 2 years in a Plant Head / Plant Manager role.
- Experience in tyre recycling, pyrolysis, waste management, oil extraction, chemical processing, rubber processing, petrochemical, or similar industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
