Store Assistant
Job Summary
The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting daily store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory records of electrical and mechanical materials. The role ensures smooth material movement and accurate inventory management to support production activities.
Key Responsibilities Material Receipt & Storage
- Assist in receiving materials from suppliers.
- Verify received quantities against delivery challans and purchase orders.
- Label and store materials in designated locations.
- Ensure proper arrangement and identification of stock items.
Material Issue
- Issue materials to production as per approved requisition slips.
- Maintain records of material issuance.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production requirements.
Inventory Management
- Update stock registers, bin cards, and ERP/Excel records.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store In-Charge.
Documentation
- Maintain inward and outward material records.
- File delivery challans, GRNs, invoices, and store-related documents.
- Prepare daily stock movement reports as required.
Stock Verification
- Assist in monthly and periodic stock audits.
- Support physical stock counting activities.
- Report discrepancies and damaged materials immediately.
Housekeeping & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
- Follow safety procedures for material handling and storage.
- Ensure materials are stored safely to prevent damage.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.Com / BBA / ITI / Any Graduate
- Freshers with good computer knowledge may also apply.
Experience
- 0 to 3 years experience in Stores, Inventory, Warehouse, or Production Support.
- Experience in the Electrical Panel Board Industry will be an added advantage.
Preferred Knowledge
- Electrical panel components such as MCCB, MCB, ACB, Contactors, Relays, Cables, PLCs, HMIs, and Accessories.
- ERP/Tally software knowledge.
- Basic understanding of store documentation and inventory control.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
