Role: Store Manager

1) What this job is
You will run the store day-to-day and take full responsibility for sales, staff, stock, customer service, cleanliness, and billing. You must ensure the store follows company rules and hits targets.
2) Main dutiesA. Sales and targets
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Improve walk-in conversion and upselling (add-on sales).
- Ensure product display and promotions are done properly.
B. Customer service
- Maintain good customer experience: fast service, clean store, polite staff.
- Handle customer complaints and close them quickly.
C. Staff management
- Make duty rosters (shift plan) and ensure proper staffing.
- Train new staff and guide existing staff.
- Manage attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
- Report staff issues and updates to the Cluster Manager.
D. Stock and wastage control
- Place orders based on sales and stock.
- Follow FIFO (first in, first out) and expiry control.
- Reduce wastage, damages, and returns.
- Do regular stock counting and avoid stock shortage.
E. Cash, billing, and reports
- Ensure 100% billing for every item—no unbilled items.
- Handle daily cash closing and POS settlement.
- Maintain bills, credit notes, and daily registers.
- Share daily sales and stock reports with the Cluster Manager.
F. Store upkeep and hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Take care of equipment and coordinate repairs when needed.
3) KPIs (how performance will be measured)
- Sales target achievement
- Gross margin / discount control
- Wastage and returns control
- Stock accuracy (low stock difference)
- Customer complaints (number and closure time)
- Staff attendance and performance
- Store hygiene and audit score
4) Who we want
- 2–6 years experience in retail / café / QSR / bakery
- Experience handling staff and targets preferred
- Good communication in Malayalam + basic English
- Comfortable with POS billing and basic reporting
- Can handle pressure during peak hours
5) Work requirements
- Shift duty, weekends, and festival season work required
- This is a floor job (you must be active in the store), not only office work
6) Salary and benefits
- Fixed salary + performance incentive
- Bonus available as applicable
- PF/ESI/leave as applicable
- Probation: [60–90 days]

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
