Job Description for Admission Counselor
Location: The Quantium School, Mokila, Hyderabad
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Handle enquiries from parents through calls, walk-ins, emails, and other channels.
- Counsel parents and provide clear information about the school, curriculum, programmes, and facilities.
- Explain the school’s learning approach, including concept-based, inquiry-driven, experiential, and real-world learning.
- Guide parents through the complete admission process, from enquiry to enrolment.
- Conduct and coordinate campus visits for prospective families.
- Follow up with prospective parents and maintain regular communication.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and admissions.
- Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Participate in open houses, school events, education fairs, and other admission activities.
- Work towards achieving admission targets and improving conversions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in school admissions, education counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in a reputed school or educational institution is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling and relationship-building skills.
- Good understanding of school curricula and the ability to explain them clearly to parents.
- Confident, professional, and approachable personality.
- Good follow-up and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM/data management.
