Job Title: Solar Consultant – Field Sales
Job Summary:
The Solar Consultant – Field Sales is responsible for converting qualified leads into successful sales by meeting customers in person, understanding their energy needs, and offering customized solar solutions. This role involves direct field engagement, site visits, product presentations, and closing deals.
The consultant evaluates the customer’s electricity consumption and rooftop suitability, explains the benefits of solar systems, provides accurate quotations, and ensures proper follow-up until the deal is successfully closed. The role is target-driven and requires strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet prospective customers through assigned leads and field visits
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions
- Present proposals and explain pricing, ROI, and system benefits
- Convert leads into confirmed sales
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Submit daily/weekly sales activity reports
- Coordinate with installation and operations teams after deal closure
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Experience in field sales (solar/renewable energy preferred)
- Target-oriented and self-motivated
- Basic technical understanding of solar systems

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
