Summary
We are looking for a qualified and motivated PGT Computer Science Teacher for Classes XI & XII. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or M.Sc. (CS) / MCA (or equivalent), with good teaching/mentoring skills. The role involves handling both theory and practical sessions, guiding students academically and in career paths, preparing them for board & further academic success, and contributing to the school’s overall Computer Science programme.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- M.Sc. in Computer Science or MCA from a recognized university.
- In some cases, BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) (or equivalent) + a postgraduate degree (or PG qualification as per school/board norms) may suffice.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Computer Science theory and lab/practical classes as per the school’s syllabus for Classes 11 & 12.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments; evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Mentor and guide students academically — help them build strong conceptual foundation in programming, software, databases, algorithms, etc.
- Support students’ career/ higher-education guidance in Computer Science / IT / related streams.
- Maintain academic records, ensure lab/computer-infrastructure readiness (if required), and collaborate with other teachers/departments for effective teaching and extracurricular/IT-club activities.
- Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and build interest in computing among students.
