Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joinery Draftsman to create detailed technical drawings and production plans for custom furniture, cabinetry, interior fit-outs, and joinery projects. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience working with woodworking and joinery manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, technical drawings, and production layouts for joinery and fit-out projects.
- Interpret architectural and interior design drawings accurately.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams.
- Develop material specifications, cutting lists, and assembly details.
- Modify drawings based on client or site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct site measurements when required.
- Support production and installation teams with technical clarifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman or CAD Draftsman in joinery/interior fit-out industry.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Cabinet Vision / SolidWorks / 3ds Max (preferred)
- Strong understanding of joinery materials, fittings, and manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to read architectural and technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
