Job Responsibilities
- Operate a 3-Ton Diesel Forklift (4-Wheel, JD Make) safely and efficiently for material handling activities.
- Load, unload, stack, and move plywood sheets (8 ft × 4 ft) and other warehouse materials.
- Transport materials and products to designated locations within the warehouse, production area, or dispatch zone.
- Optimize load placement and handling to ensure maximum operational efficiency and safe transportation.
- Secure loads properly before movement to prevent damage to materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Inspect the forklift and related equipment before and after each shift, reporting any defects or damages immediately.
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of the forklift to ensure operational readiness.
- Operate and manage material-handling equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist in picking, stacking, wrapping, and preparing orders for dispatch and shipment.
- Ensure accurate movement of goods while maintaining inventory integrity.
- Identify and report workplace safety hazards, unsafe conditions, or near-miss incidents.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and statutory safety regulations.
- Follow production, dispatch, and delivery schedules to ensure timely material movement and operational continuity.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the forklift operating area and warehouse premises.
- Support warehouse and logistics operations as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (if applicable).
- Experience operating a 3-Ton Diesel Forklift.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
- Ability to handle large plywood sheets and heavy loads safely.
- Basic understanding of equipment inspection and preventive maintenance.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
