We are looking for a Shift Engineer to manage and maintain building services and engineering operations during assigned shifts. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate all engineering systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG sets, STP, and fire systems
- Ensure smooth shift operations and attend to breakdowns promptly
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule
- Maintain logbooks, checklists, and daily reports
- Coordinate with technicians and vendors for repairs and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and SOPs
- Handle emergency situations efficiently
- Monitor energy consumption and report abnormalities
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained properly
Eligibility & Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Facilities Management
- 2–5 years of experience in facility or building maintenance
- Good knowledge of MEP systems
- Ability to handle shifts independently
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email, logbooks)
- Good communication and coordination skills
