About the Role
Zephyr Entrance Coaching is seeking an experienced and visionary Academic Director to lead our academic operations and drive excellence across our entrance coaching programs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing academic teams, developing high-performing faculty, and delivering outstanding results in competitive exam coaching.
This role requires a strong leader who can oversee academic planning, faculty performance, curriculum execution, student outcomes, and overall academic quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all academic operations across the institution.
- Develop and implement academic strategies to improve student performance.
- Recruit, mentor, train, and evaluate faculty members.
- Design academic calendars, teaching plans, and curriculum execution strategies.
- Monitor classroom delivery and ensure consistent teaching quality.
- Analyze student performance and implement corrective academic interventions.
- Conduct faculty reviews, academic audits, and regular performance evaluations.
- Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and learning practices.
- Coordinate with Center Heads to ensure smooth academic operations.
- Plan and conduct faculty development programs and academic workshops.
- Ensure syllabus completion, revision schedules, and test series are executed on time.
- Drive academic excellence with a strong focus on NEET, JEE, KEAM, CUET, and Foundation programs.
- Prepare academic reports and present performance updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in educational leadership or academic management are an advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the education industry.
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior academic leadership role.
- Proven experience in entrance coaching institutes is highly preferred.
- Experience in leading large academic teams and multiple centers is an added advantage.
