Consultant - Embedded C developer in Product Appli Pan India · Full Time · Hybrid
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Consultant to work on embedded C development in a product application context. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics or computer science and experience in coding and testing embedded work products. The role involves working on various embedded software components, including RTOS, communication drivers, and MCU architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded software components, including RTOS, communication drivers, and MCU architectures
- Design and code in C, with a focus on structured, modularized development and testing
- Work with embedded environments, such as IAR, and utilize tools like emulators, OCD, and hardware debugging tools
- Conduct hardware debugging and testing, including peripherals, schematic reading, oscilloscope, and multi-meter
- Create and maintain documentation for embedded software components
- Collaborate on software development of display products
- Participate in test automation of display products
- Utilize SW testing tools, such as CPPUnit, and continuous integration tools, like Jenkins
- Manage version control using tools like GIT
Requirements
- Have 6+ years of experience in coding and testing embedded work products in Embedded C
- Hold a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Possess a good understanding of software failures and embedded concepts at both SW and HW levels
- Have experience with RTOS knowledge, memory, communication drivers, and protocols like RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, and Modbus
- Be familiar with MCU architectures, preferably Renesas (Rx, V850, RL78)
- Have experience with high/low-level design and coding in C
- Have user-level understanding and knowledge with hands-on work experience
- Be proficient in Python language
