Seeking a Senior Manual Functional Tester with 3 to 5 years of experience to ensure software quality through comprehensive manual system testing
Job Description
Perform detailed manual functional and system testing to validate software applications against requirements Develop execute and maintain manual test cases and test scripts based on functional specifications Identify document and track defects using test management tools Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and ensure thorough manual test coverage Analyze test results and provide clear concise reports to stakeholders Participate in test planning and contribute to continuous improvement of manual testing processes Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the manual testing lifecycle
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead manual functional testing efforts for assigned projects ensuring comprehensive test coverage Design and implement manual system test strategies to validate endtoend business processes Mentor and guide junior testers in manual functional testing methodologies and best practices Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects Review and validate manual test deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness Participate in requirement review sessions to identify testable requirements Track and report manual testing progress risks and issues to project management Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of critical issues
