- 3D Modeling: Translate 2D blueprints into detailed 3D part models using CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Unigraphics.
- CAM Programming: Convert the 3D design into step-by-step instructions (toolpaths) using CAM software like PowerMill to guide the VMC.
- Tooling Selection: Choose the correct cutting tools (drill bits, end mills) and define the speed and angle of the cut.
- Code Generation: Write and simulate machine language (G-code and M-code) to prevent errors and crashes before actually running the machine.
- Machining and Testing: Oversee the first machine test, check parts against strict size measurements, and adjust the design as needed.
- Essential Skills and Requirements
- Software: Must know CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, or PowerMill).
- Math and Metrics: Strong understanding of shop math, plus GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to understand acceptable measurement errors.
- Require Experience of software : NX Siemens / AUTOCAD / Power Mill Delcam and other 3d Cad Cam software.
- Minimum Experience required :- 1 to 4 years
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
