Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, electrical systems, and HVAC/R units.
- Conduct detailed analysis using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues accurately.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate efficient repairs and modifications.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Operate industrial machinery including scissor lifts, forklifts, and other lifting equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide onsite customer support, product demonstrations, and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), and industrial mechanics.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating clearly with clients, providing technical guidance, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Support industrial maintenance activities by analyzing system performance data and recommending improvements for efficiency and reliability.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Extensive electrical experience with a focus on low voltage and high voltage systems; familiarity with industrial electrician practices is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding techniques (including <LOCATION> welding), and precision instruments.
- Hands-on experience working with schematics, technical drawings, and troubleshooting control systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Demonstrated ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely.
- Background in industrial maintenance or industrial electrician roles within manufacturing or military settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues using multimeters like ammeters and ohmmeters.
