The Next Step by The Physio Associates is a child development and special needs clinic dedicated to supporting neurodivergent children in achieving their fullest potential. We work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech delays, developmental delays, learning disabilities, sensory processing challenges, and other communication disorders through a multidisciplinary, child-centered, and family-focused approach.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist who is passionate about helping children build communication skills and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for pediatric clients.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on each child’s developmental and communication needs.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Developmental delays
- Speech delays
- Apraxia
- Stammering/stuttering
- Learning disabilities
- Social communication challenges
- Work on:
- Receptive and expressive language development
- Articulation and phonology
- Pragmatic/social communication
- Oral motor development
- Feeding concerns (if applicable)
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), when needed
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, special educators, and pediatricians to create integrated care plans.
- Educate parents/caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s / Diploma in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, Speech Therapy, or a related field
- Relevant certification/license/RCI registration (if applicable as per local regulations)
- Experience working with children, especially neurodivergent children, preferred
- Freshers with strong pediatric internship experience may also apply
