Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee human resource operations in our textile manufacturing organization. The role will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, attendance and payroll coordination, statutory compliance, training, performance management, and maintaining a productive and disciplined workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory, production, quality, maintenance, and administrative positions.
- Plan manpower requirements based on production schedules and business needs.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and exit processes.
- Monitor attendance, leave, shift schedules, overtime, and workforce discipline.
- Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate salary processing.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, labour-welfare, and other statutory matters as applicable.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Organize employee training, skill development, and safety-awareness programs.
- Support performance appraisal and employee development processes.
- Work closely with production managers to address manpower and workforce issues.
- Monitor employee engagement, retention, absenteeism, and turnover.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and professional work environment.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce-related MIS for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PG Diploma in HR is preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in textile, garment, spinning, weaving, processing, or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Good communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling both factory/workmen and staff-level employees.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and HR/payroll systems.
