Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced In-House CHA to manage customs clearance and import documentation for alcoholic beverages and related products. The role will be responsible for coordinating with Customs, ports, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant clearance of imported consignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end import customs clearance, including preparation and filing of Bills of Entry and related documents.
- Coordinate with Customs authorities, ports, CFS/ICD, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
- Verify Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, COO and other import documents before clearance.
- Coordinate customs examination, assessment, queries, duty payment, and release of consignments.
- Monitor HSN/HS Code classification, customs duty, valuation, exemptions, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Customs laws, CBLR requirements, import regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Support the team in managing import-related licenses, registrations, approvals, and other statutory requirements applicable to alcoholic beverages.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; qualification in Import-Export, Customs, Logistics, or Supply Chain will be preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in CHA/Customs Clearance/Import Operations, preferably in the alcoholic beverage, FMCG, or import industry.
- Good knowledge of Customs procedures, ICEGATE, Bill of Entry, HSN classification, customs duty, and import documentation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments and work under strict timelines.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation management.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
