Role Overview:
The Senior Associate/Manager (Legal) will serve as a critical partner to the business, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts and ensuring robust regulatory compliance. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and product, to mitigate legal risks while enabling business growth. You will be responsible for navigating complex vendor negotiations, safeguarding data privacy standards, and providing actionable legal counsel that supports the company’s operational objectives and long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service level agreements, and partnership deeds, to protect the company’s commercial interests.
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle process, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and compliance with internal governance policies.
- Oversee data privacy and protection initiatives, ensuring all business operations align with evolving data regulations and industry standards.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks associated with new business initiatives, providing practical solutions that balance compliance with operational speed.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed to resolve disputes and ensure the company remains in good standing.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts with a focus on risk mitigation and business enablement.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulatory frameworks applicable to the health-tech or services sector.
- Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships across departments.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify potential liabilities and propose proactive, commercially viable solutions.
- A degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a reputed institution with a track record of managing high-volume legal workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of adaptability and professional maturity, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, high-growth corporate setting.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
