HR & Accountant – Textile Showroom

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience)
About the Role
COLOUR PLUSS is looking for an energetic, responsible, and detail-oriented HR & Accountant to support the daily operations of our textile showroom. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, HR coordination skills, and the ability to create a positive and motivated workplace environment.
This role combines accounts management, staff coordination, and team engagement, making it ideal for candidates who are organized, proactive, and passionate about retail operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Operations
- Handle daily billing and cash transactions
- Record and maintain purchase and sales entries
- Manage stock records and supplier entries
- Assist with day-to-day accounting activities
- Generate sales and financial reports
- Coordinate with management for purchase and expense tracking
- Maintain accurate records, invoices, and documentation
- Work with accounting software such as Tally and MS Excel
HR & Team Management
- Manage daily staff attendance and shift scheduling, especially during festive seasons
- Support recruitment by identifying, interviewing, and hiring sales staff
- Conduct onboarding and basic training for new employees
- Organize employee engagement and team-building activities
- Implement motivation programs such as “Employee of the Month” and performance recognition initiatives
- Handle staff coordination and support conflict resolution to maintain a healthy work culture
- Coordinate monthly payroll based on attendance and incentives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, B.Com, M.Com, or MBA (HR/Finance)
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Freshers with knowledge of Tally and MS Excel are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and retail operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to motivate and engage teams
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Male or Female candidates residing in Tiruchirappalli or nearby areas
- Female candidates are highly preferred
- Candidates willing to work full-time and take ownership of responsibilities
- Passion for retail, teamwork, and people management
