Role Overview
The Digital Business Development Executive (DBDE) will be responsible for driving institutional growth through a blend of digital marketing and on-ground business development. This role demands an energetic, digitally-savvy professional who can pitch services to schools, colleges, and corporates while simultaneously managing digital outreach campaigns, social media engagement, and lead funnels for assigned verticals.
Key Responsibilities
1. 1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and connect with potential institutional clients (schools, colleges, corporates, hostels).
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to generate business for multiple verticals — catering (Delhi Delight), travel (Backpackers), and stay (Camp O Royale).
- Maintain detailed client interaction records using CRM (ClickUp/Google Sheets).
- Prepare customized proposals and coordinate with internal teams for execution.
2. 2. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
- Run and monitor targeted campaigns on Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn.
- Manage social media pages for assigned vertical(s) — create and schedule engaging posts via Canva or Meta Business Suite.
- Execute email and WhatsApp marketing campaigns using approved templates.
- Build digital funnels — from awareness (social/email) to conversion (meetings and signups).
3. 3. Relationship Management
- Maintain consistent engagement with existing clients via newsletters, festival greetings, and post-service feedback forms.
- Identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities across Food, Travel, and Stay verticals.
- Collect testimonials and case studies for digital and offline use.
4. 4. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit weekly performance reports on leads, visits, conversions, and digital engagement.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams for creative assets and campaigns.
- Track competitor activity and suggest marketing improvements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Digital Marketing: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn campaigns, SEO fundamentals
- CRM & Reporting: Comfortable with ClickUp/Google Sheets and lead tracking tools
- Content & Communication: Strong English communication, creative writing for captions, proposals, and emails
- Sales & Negotiation: Confident pitch delivery, objection handling, and closing skills
- Design & Creativity: Working knowledge of Canva or similar design tools
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to track campaign ROI and conversion metrics
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in digital marketing, sales, or business development (hospitality, education, or B2B preferred).
- Must have own laptop and smartphone for hybrid digital-field operations.
- Willingness to travel locally within Delhi NCR.
Compensation Structure
Fixed Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience)
Performance Incentive: ₹2,000 – ₹5,000 per month (based on qualified leads & closures)
Quarterly Bonus: Up to ₹10,000 for achieving KPI milestones
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
