Job Summary
The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil construction activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role includes site execution, material management, contractor coordination, quality control, and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Supervise daily site activities and construction work.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress against the approved schedule.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Resolve technical issues encountered during execution.
Site Supervision
- Inspect ongoing work for quality and compliance.
- Monitor labour productivity and equipment utilization.
- Ensure availability of required materials and machinery.
- Verify measurements and work quantities.
Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct and monitor quality tests (slump test, cube test, material inspection, etc.).
- Maintain quality control records and test reports.
- Identify and rectify quality issues promptly.
Planning & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate procurement of construction materials.
- Plan manpower and equipment requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor performance.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures at the site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Report accidents, incidents, and safety observations.
Documentation
- Maintain site records, DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), MBs (Measurement Books), and site registers.
- Verify contractor bills and work measurements.
- Prepare BOQs and quantity estimations.
- Maintain material consumption records.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Attend client and consultant meetings.
- Coordinate site inspections.
- Address client queries and technical clarifications.
- Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.

Educational Qualification

Pay: ₹10,866.87 - ₹45,787.72 per month
