About the Role
Spring Leaf Ventures is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Pepperfry Studio in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in furniture sales, with strong skills in lead generation, follow-up, and closing sales. This role demands a self-driven individual who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive furniture sales by engaging with walk-in customers and converting leads into closed deals.
- Generate new leads through proactive customer outreach, referrals, and networking.
- Follow up on enquiries to ensure customer engagement and conversion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Work closely with the studio team to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Provide accurate product information and assist customers in selecting furniture solutions to meet their requirements.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively pitch and upsell.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–5 years of proven experience in furniture sales or related retail segments.
- Strong track record in lead generation, follow-up, and successful sales closures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage confidently with customers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and a strong team player.
- Smart, presentable personality with customer-first orientation.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM tools preferred).
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia will be an added advantage.
